Over 500 persons,including people from all age groups and different walks of life,attended the yoga camp organised by the Bhartiya Yog Sansthan,at The British School,Sector 44-B,here today. The two-hour camp,received a great response from the enthusiastic crowd,which started gathering at the venue at 5 am. The camp commenced at around 5.30 am,during which Dr Rajiv Kurali,taught the crowd various postures of yoga,which a person can practice for keeping good mental and physical fitness levels.
The camp was organised in association with The Indian Express group. The Bhartiya Yog Sansthan keeps organising such camps in and around the city,teaching people the importance of yoga. More and more people are showing keen interest in yoga these days. Many women,children,even aged persons are attending the camps and getting benefits by practising yoga. The next camp shall be organised from October 12-16 in Sector 49,Advocates Enclave,daily from 5.30 am onwards; and this time the theme shall be on how to beat stress and hypertension by practising yoga. We shall be teaching people various postures,practicing which a person can definitely feel the benefits, said Gopal Ji Dass,regional president,Bhartiya Yog Sansthan.
