Nanakshahi Calendar: Dal Khalsa releases ‘original’ version

Party members gathered at the Akal Takht on the eve of New Year as per Nanakshahi Calendar (March 14) and released its first copy after performing an ardas. The members dropped a copy,along with a fresh petition addressed to Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh at his official residence,said Dal Khalsa head Harchranjit Singh Dhami. He said the modifications done by the SGPC in the calendar had led to confusion and division within the community.
