The tradition of “Best Legislator Award” was initiated by Gupta and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Earlier, two MLAs used to be awarded. But, from this session, the number has been increased by one.
Gupta presented the three lawmakers with awards on the concluding day of the monsoon session in the presence of Khattar, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
