Demonstrating solidarity with flood-affected families across Punjab, the Manav Mangal Group of Schools has contributed Rs 10 lakh towards relief operations. Group Director Sanjay Sardana handed over the cheque to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Komal Mittal, who entrusted it to the District Red Cross Society with instructions to channel the funds into essential relief material.

Acknowledging the gesture, Mittal said the floods have caused irreparable losses, but contributions from institutions and citizens reflect a spirit of compassion and shared responsibility. “Voluntary support like this provides not only timely assistance but also a strong message of unity,” she remarked. District Education Officer Dr Ginni Duggal was also present on the occasion.

Sardana emphasised that people in border areas have been devastated, losing both personal and financial security. “In such times, it is our duty to step forward and extend meaningful support,” he said.
