A major reshuffle of departments took place today in the UT Administration after the UT Finance Secretary V K Singh left on a study leave for three weeks starting from September 9 to 27.
In his absence,the UT Administrator has redistributed the charges of the departments that he holds to the chairman of the Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) Satya Gopal,Managing Director of the Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation (CITCO) D K Tiwari,Special Secretary Finance Ajoy Sharma and the UT Home Secretary Anil Kumar.
According to the orders issued today,Satya Gopal will hold the additional charge of Secretary Labour and Secretary Employment while Ajoy Sharma will hold the charge of Secretary Technical Education and Secretary Education,in addition to their own duties.
While D K Tiwari,CITCO MD will hold the additional charge of Chief Administrator and Secretary Engineering and Secretary Urban Planning,the UT Home Secretary Anil Kumar has been given the additional charge of Finance,Planning,Sports,Treasury & Accounts,Excise &Taxation,Statistical Cell,Local Audit Department and Printing and Stationary.
