M Narendra has taken over as Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Overseas Bank. In his 35 years of service he has handled several business units like rural development and priority sector,small and medium enterprises and retail banking. Having joined the Corporation Bank as an office trainee Narendra has been incharge of portfolios including risk management,information technology,inspection and audit and general operations. He has various awards to his credit.
