The initiative, launched under the Haryana Shehri Swachhta Mission 2025 and Swachhata Hi Seva 2025, was spearheaded by two IAS officers – Kurukshetra Deputy Commissioner Vishram Meena and Pehowa Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Abhinav Siwach.

Each toilet facility has been assigned a unique QR Code, prominently displayed outside, allowing users to scan and access the dedicated portal http://www.merakurukshetrameraabhimaan.in. Through this portal, citizens can fill out a simple feedback form to report cleanliness, usability, and offer suggestions for improvement. The form also allows users to identify the toilet by type (divyang, male, female), rate their experience on a scale of 1 to 5, and optionally share their name and mobile number.

The system enables real-time, location-specific monitoring, with each QR Code mapped to its respective toilet. Feedback submitted by users is instantly visible to the district administration, ensuring swift action and greater accountability among sanitation staff, said officials.

Meena described the initiative as a reflection of the administration’s commitment to transparent, participatory, and responsive governance. He encouraged citizens to actively use the system, noting that their input would play a vital role in improving public services.

Siwach highlighted the feedback mechanism as a powerful interface between citizens and the government, aimed at maintaining clean and user-friendly sanitation facilities.

The administration has urged the public to support the initiative by providing honest feedback whenever they use the toilets at the Mini Secretariat, reinforcing its goal of continuous improvement in hygiene and public infrastructure.
