Punjabi film Chobbar will stream on the Chaupal OTT platform from March 31 onwards. The movie was earlier released in theatres in November 2022.

Chobbar,’ which means a robust young man in Punjabi, follows the life of a character named Saabi, played by actor-singer Jayy Randhawa. Saabi’s life purpose is motivated by his childhood trauma of witnessing his father’s death.

A stuntman in ‘well of death’ carnival, Saabi’s father loses control while driving his motorcycle and falls off the stunt area. Saabi and his mother are unable to save him as they lose all their money in a financial scam. This hits the protagonist, who was a child then, real hard and he makes it a goal for himself to avenge his father’s killing.

Directed by Maneesh Bhatt, Chobbar stars Drishty Talwar, Honey Mattu, Sukhwinder Chahal, Seema Kaushal, Gurteg Guri and Sanju Solanki in prominent roles, besides Randhawa. The film is a full-fledged action-thriller in which Randhawa, who is also a stuntman, performs dangerous action sequences. The viewers will also get a sneak peek into the unusual love story of the lead artists who fall for each other in the weirdest circumstances.

A perfect watch for action enthusiasts, Chobbar is Randhawa’s second flick as a lead after Shooter, which is also streaming on Chaupal OTT. Next, the actor will be seen in Medal, another Maneesh Bhatt directorial, along with singer Baani Sandu this year.
