A number of teams of Directorate of Income Tax (Investigation) Chandigarh today raided the house and business establishments in Bathinda that Akali leader and Bathinda assembly constituency incharge of SAD,Sarup Chand Singla,is said to have a stake in.

The raids were conducted as part of raids on three players in the real estate business,namely Zanders,Mehta and MG Group,said Director General of Income Tax (Investigation) Jaswant Singh.

All the three are in real estate business and in all their 29 premises were raided in Chandigarh,Bathinda,Mohali,Panchkula and Vishakhapatnam following reports regarding evasion of tax, said Jaswant Singh.
