Gurdwara manager charged with attempt to rape

The police have registered a case against the manager of Nada Sahib gurdwara,Bhupinder Pal Singh on charges of attempt to rape.

The police have registered a case against the manager of Nada Sahib gurdwara,Bhupinder Pal Singh on charges of attempt to rape. Three other employees of the gurdwara have been charged for voluntarily causing hurt. A complaint was lodged by the Bahadur Singh,a sevadar at Nada Sahib late on Sunday alleging that he and his wife were called by the manager on Sunday evening. I was thrashed by the four accused with kirpans and sluggers and when my wife tried to rescue me,the manger tried to outrage her modesty, Bahadur Singh has stated in his complaint.

Police had registered a daily diary report (DDR) on Sunday and the case was registered after the police recorded the statement of the lady. Meanwhile,the manager has denied the charges against him.
