Former sarpanch and BJP member from Hallomajra,Umesh Gupta,along with many BJP workers,a former panch and supporters joined BSP today.
Among other senior leaders who joined BSP alongwith Umesh Gupta were Sukhjit Kaur,former panch,Ajay Pal Singh,who last fought municipal council elections as an independent candidate and got more than 1,700 votes,Prithvi Singh,senior BJP leader of area,Mohammad Qasim,senior vice president RJD.
Other local BJP leaders Narendra Yadav,Aanchal Singh,Rajkumar,Raju Patel,Birender Kumar also joined BSP.
Candidate from the ward Jannat Jahaan,said,It is a sign of change and an indicator that people are fed up of BJP and Congress.
The leaders held a padyatra in the area.
