In Mohali,vet pharmacists repeat Sholay act

MOHALI: After contractual teachers got back their jobs in a similar way,the retrenched rural veterinary pharmacists and Class IV employees also resorted to the Sholay act in Mohali on Thursday. Hundreds of protesters from across the state converged at the Vikas Bhawan in Mohalis Sector 62. While 10 of them climbed atop the six-storey building,the rest,along with their families,squatted in the middle of the road.

Chandigarh: The family of Khushpreet Singh a resident of Burail village who was murdered by his kidnappers earlier this year,has demanded that the police officers guilty of negligence in investigating the case be booked.
