Chandigarh ball badminton team announced

The names of the players selected for the zonal camp of the 37th North Zone ball badminton championship (men and women) to be held at Panjab University,Chandigarh from September 30 to October 2,have been finalised.

Chandigarh:The names of the players selected for the zonal camp of the 37th North Zone ball badminton championship (men and women) to be held at Panjab University,Chandigarh from September 30 to October 2,have been finalised. These players will undergo camp at Shishu Niketan Model School,Sector 22,from September 19 to 28,from 4:30 pm onwards. The camp will take place under the supervision of Chanderpal and Bhushan Kanwar. The players are: Men: Shiv Kumar,Anmol,Amandeep Singh,Deepak Rathi,Rishi,Aniket,Simranjeet Singh,Dinkar,Amit Yadav,Sourabh Sharma,Vikram Goyal,Suresh Kumar,Manish; Women: Monu Dhiman,Sapna,Radha,Kanupriya,Geetanjli,Bhavya,Nitika,Priya,Neha,Archna,Deepika,Anjana,Sakshi,Chanderlata,Sarita.

CFA to conduct football trials on September 20

Chandigarh:The Chandigarh Football Association will conduct field trials to select 25 probables for forthcoming Administrators Cup All India Football Tournament for U-17 boys,organised by Sports Department,Chandigarh Administration. The trials will be held on September 20 at DAV Senior Secondary School,Sector 8,at 4.30 pm. The boys born on or after 1st January,1996 are eligible to participate in this All India Tournament. The interested players should bring age proof certificates during the trials. The selected boys will attend coaching camp at DAV Senior Secondary School,Sector 8,Chandigarh,under the supervision of Narinder Thapa,senior SAI football coach.
