Blood donation camp in Sector 26
A blood donation camp was organised on Tuesday at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College in Sector 26. The camp,jointly organised by the NSS unit of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College in association with Lions Club,Chandigarh,was supervised by a team of doctors from Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research.
MCM Rotaract club gets new board
A new board of MCM Rotaract Club,for the session 2013-14,was installed on Tuesday at MCM DAV College for Women in Sector 36. A road-map of proposed activities and the theme for the session Will to change,were also presented before the audience,while the outgoing president,presented the ceremonial collar to the new president.
RLK party discusses parking issues in Sector 47
The members of Rashtriya Lok Kalyan (RLK) party held a meeting,on Tuesday,to discuss the problems of residents of Sector 47. It was stated that there was a lack of parking space in the market of the sector which creates problems for the residents. It was decided that the authorities would be approached for finding a solution.
