BJP’s Saini calls it a day

Three-time BJP MLA and former minister Hari Narain Saini,who took on Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal accusing him of ignoring Nalagarh,his constituency in Solan district,in matters of development,today announced his retirement from electoral politics.

Three-time BJP MLA and former minister Hari Narain Saini,who took on Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal accusing him of ignoring Nalagarh,his constituency in Solan district,in matters of development,today announced his retirement from electoral politics.

An ailing Saini today announced at his native village Rajpura,near Nalagarh that his health was not “up to the mark” to continue an active political career.

The lone Sikh MLA in Himachal Pradesh,named his wife Gurman Kaur as his political successor to serve the people of Nalagarh.

Saini’s supporters who attended the function appeared moved and assured him that his political legacy will be carried forward.
