The Punjab government on Thursday launched a dedicated website and mobile app, AnandpurSahib350.com, to help devotees attending the 350th martyrdom anniversary commemorations of Guru Tegh Bahadur at Sri Anandpur Sahib. Education and Information and Public Relations Minister Harjot Singh Bains said the digital platforms have been designed as a one-stop information hub to support what is expected to be a massive inflow of Sangat.

Calling the initiative a step to ensure a safe and organised pilgrimage, Bains said the website and app will give real-time updates on events, logistics and services. “The platform embodies our commitment to serve every devotee with dignity. It allows the Sangat to focus on devotion while we handle the logistics. We encourage everyone to use and share this resource,” he said.

The portal provides schedules of commemorative events, live streams of ceremonies, Nagar Kirtan routes and historical material in Punjabi and English. It also includes information on over 30 designated parking sites and three tent cities, with real-time capacity updates and booking options for tent accommodation. Officials said a dedicated ‘tractor trolley city’, located about a kilometre from Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib, has also been created to streamline movement.

Bains said the platforms will guide devotees to shuttle services operating round the clock. A fleet of 65 mini-buses and 500 e-rickshaws will connect parking areas with key points such as Gurdwara Sisganj Sahib and the main event grounds.

On health arrangements, he said 19 Aam Aadmi Clinics, two specialised eye camps and multiple check-up stations have been set up, offering free medicines, tests and emergency support. Ambulances have been strategically deployed across the city.

To maintain sanitation, 26 mobile toilet vans with hourly cleaning cycles have been stationed at key spots, along with bathing facilities. CCTV cameras, LED screens and a public announcement system will relay live traffic updates and advisories.

The website is currently live, while the companion app is available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. Bains added that the government, under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, “extends gratitude to all sevadars” and urged people to join in making the anniversary events memorable.
