Karnataka swearing-in tomorrow: Students writing CET-2023 exams in centres near oath-taking venue asked to report 2 hours prior to start

With the Karnataka swearing-in ceremony falling on the same day as the CET-2023 exams, students writing their papers in centres near Kantheerava stadium where the oath-taking is being held have been asked to report 2 hours before the scheduled time.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), in a statement on Friday, stated that the authority has taken appropriate measures to ensure students reach the designated centres without delay. The steps have been taken anticipating traffic congestion around Kantheerava stadium on May 20.

Ramya, ED, KEA, informed that candidates from 11 centres near Kantheerava stadium need to be present at their respective centres by 8.30 am. This applies to students who are only writing the Mathematics exams also, she has clarified.

In a special arrangement, breakfast and lunch will be provided to all those who have their centres at St Joseph Indian PU College (AR-code) on Vittal Mallya Road. Students who will be writing the Maths exam in the second session will also be given both breakfast and lunch. Students will not be allowed to leave the centre till their examination is over.

KEA has also sought the assistance of police authorities in this regard. According to Ramya, candidates can seek the help of nearby police to reach their centres by showing the admission cards.
