Woman students outnumber men in MSU results, bag 176 gold medals

The gold medals are awarded to outstanding students who top in different subjects and papers. As per faculty-wise breakup, woman students have outnumbered their male counterparts in all faculties except the Faculty of Technology and Engineering and Faculty of Management, with the ratio being nearly equal at the former. Only five male students of the Baroda Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya will be felicitated with gold medals.

Twenty-three woman students from Faculty of Arts will be awarded gold medal as against five male students. Similarly, 16 woman students will be awarded medal against one male student. In Faculty of Fine Arts also, nine woman students will be awarded the medals against one male student. Twenty-eight woman students will be awarded gold medals in the Faculty of Science against 11 male students.

At the Faculty of Technology and Engineering, 26 woman students have won gold medals against 27 male students. Faculty of Management is another faculty where the number of male gold medalists outnumber woman, with six male students being awarded gold medals against three woman students. The gold medalist students will be facilitated at a function on the eve of the convocation day at the official residence of the vice-chancellor.
