Paras Desai is a fourth-generation entrepreneur from the Wagh Bakri Tea family.

Ahmedabad-based Wagh Bakri Tea Group Executive Director Paras Desai has been elected as the chairman of Federation of All India Tea Traders’ Association (FAITTA), the national apex body representing tea traders across India, according to an official release.

According to the official release, FAITTA works to protect the interests of tea buyers and traders by addressing industry challenges with government authorities, tea boards, and related associations.

Paras is a fourth-generation entrepreneur from the Wagh Bakri Tea family and has been associated with the group since 1993. With that, Wagh Bakri Tea Group Director Vidisha Desai has also been inducted into FAITTA’s Executive Committee.
