Sales of platform tickets temporarily suspended at Ahmedabad and Sabarmati stations during Diwali

It said, “In view of the heavy passenger traffic expected during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath festivals, Western Railway has decided to temporarily suspend platform ticket sales at Ahmedabad and Sabarmati railway stations to ensure crowd management and passenger convenience.”

“This decision is a temporary and planned measure to ensure passenger safety, convenience, and smooth travel. Western Railway is making all necessary arrangements to ensure a safe and pleasant travel experience for passengers,” it continued.

The statement said, “The Railway Administration appeals to passengers and citizens to avoid unnecessary crowding during this period and to be present in the station premises only for travel-related purposes, so that a safe and convenient travel environment can be ensured for all.”
