Apparently mocking top Congress leaders in Gujarat,a website promoted by the state BJP as a part of election campaign carries a flash page with pictures of state Congress president Arjun Modhwadia and Leader of Opposition (LOP) Shaktisinh Gohil and carries a tag-line that reads,we will not just change the direction,but will also change the condition. Looking at the 10 years development by Modiji,let us,this time,vote for BJP and make it victorious.
The website,www.namoleague.com,apparently mocks the catch words that Congress uses for its pre-poll campaign in Gujarat Disha Badaliye,Dasha Badaliye (Change the direction to change the situation).
The page has been flashing on the website for the last three days,but neither the Congress nor the Election Commission of India (ECI) has raised any objection.
A senior BJP leader who is associated with the website said,There are no clear guidelines of ECI on election propaganda through Internet. The state Congress is running anti-Modi and anti-BJP propaganda through various private sites. We put this funny flash page to mock these two Congress leaders only. If the Commission takes an objection,we will remove it.
