Senior officials of the Gujarat government on Saturday reviewed the preparations for the upcoming two-day Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary on October 3, to be held at Ekta Nagar in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well as the Bharat Parva to be held from November 1 to 15.
Rajendra Kumar, Secretary of Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited, visited the various domes erected for spectators that includes invitees, citizens and officials on duty from other districts and reviewed the arrangements made for accommodation and meals, and the control room being set up near the Mamlatdar Office. Kumar held a meeting with officials in the administrative complex, laying emphasis on the celebration of Bharat Parva, which will see a concluding event on the birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda’s on November 15.
