Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat travelled from Ahmedabad to Mumbai in Tejas Express train on Sunday. Devvrat has been given an additional charge as Governor of Maharashtra after C P Radhakrishnan resigned from his post before he was elected as the Vice President. Generally, air facilities are available for a Governor to travel. However, Devvrat decided to travel by a train following which his and his wife Darshana Devi’s tickets were booked. Both were welcomed by the officials of the Railways even as the other passengers on the train and the station looked on surprised. Many passengers on the train even took photographs with Devvrat who also interacted with them.
