Former Congress MLA Arvind Ladani joins BJP

Soon after resigning as Congress MLA on March 6, Ladani had announced that he would join the BJP.

Arvind Ladani, former Congress MLA from Manavadar, along with his supporters Thursday joined the BJP in the presence of Gujarat party president C R Paatil at Vanthali of Junagadh district.

Soon after resigning as Congress MLA on March 6, Ladani had announced that he would join the BJP.

Paatil said many Congress leaders are now joining the BJP because they accept that Congress’s leadership is directionless and does not take timely decisions. He added that the then Congress leadership had given the slogan of ‘Garibi Hatao’ but poverty was not eliminated. On the other hand, he added, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought 25 crore people out of the poverty line.
