Over 77.71 lakh people have visited the Atal Bridge over the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad in three years.

The bridge, dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 27, 2022, has become a major attraction for city residents as well as tourists from across the country and abroad.

Atal Bridge, built at an estimated cost of Rs 74 crore, has already generated Rs 27.70 crore in revenue for the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), accounting for over 37 per cent of the total project cost, said Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Limited (SRFDCL), which manages the bridge. .

SRFDC, a subsidiary of the AMC, which has constructed the bridge, said that 77,71,269 people have visited the bridge between August 31, 2022, and October 2025.

During the period, the AMC has earned over Rs 27.70 crore as revenue from ticket sales.

The ticket price at Atal Bridge is Rs 50 for adults and Rs 30 for children between 3 and 12 years of age and senior citizens. This price has been increased from the earlier price of Rs 30 for adults and Rs 15 for children and senior citizens.
