Gandhinagar police on Tuesday detained around 100 candidates, who appeared for the recruitment examination of Forest Beat Guard in February, while they were staging a protest near Pathikashram to press for their demands related to the recruitment.
Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board had conducted the Forest Beat Guard recruitment examination to fill 823 vacancies.
The exam was conducted using the Comsssbputer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) method.
Hardik Chaudhary, one of the protesting candidates, said that they are demanding that the GSSSB make public the marks obtained by all the candidates in a pdf file format. “We also demand to scrap the CBRT method,” he said.
