Sony India has announced the launch of the Xperia Z1 Compact, bringing the best of its flagship mobile technologies in a compact 4.3-inch form factor. The phone boasts of the “best camera” in this size with a 20.7 MP 1/2.3-type CMOS image sensor. The camera will also have other features like time shift burst with 61 frames in just two seconds, info-eye visual search, social live and augmented reality extensions.
Xperia Z1 Compact, which weighs 137 grams, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with 2.2 GHz quad-core CPU, and a 2300 mAh battery. The device runs on Google Android 4.3. Priced at

Sennheiser has launched two high-end gaming headphones. The two new products – G4me Zero and G4me One – are available for Rs 24,990 and Rs 19,990 respectively. The company claims that these headphones feature “top-of-the-line noise cancellation technologies in the built in microphones in order to ensure clear communication during online or multi-player gaming”.
On the technical side, Sennheiser says it has developed the headphones’ transducers at its lab in Germany and optimised the components to deliver “accurate reproduction of the gaming audio”.

The X-E2 shoots Full HD video at up to 60fps and the AF tracking performance in movie mode has been improved with good focusing speed, accuracy and smoothness. The X-E2 is priced at Rs 76,999 for body and Rs 1,09,999 with XF18-55mm kit lens.

British firm STK Accessories has recently announced its foray into the Indian personal audio market. The company recently unveiled its Groovez lineup of audio gear, which comprises Bluetooth headphones and speakers, apart from earphones. The Groovez Bluetooth headphones support Bluetooth v4.0.
The company promises a battery life of up to 12 hours talk time and eight hours of music playback. The headphones weigh 250 grams and come with a carry case, a microUSB charging cable and a 3.5 mm stereo jack cable. The headphones are available in black and white, for Rs 3,999.
