Blinkit, a quick commerce platform, has introduced a new service for its Delhi and Gurugram customers: 10-minute delivery for passport-sized photos.
Taking to X to announce the new service, Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa wrote: “Ever needed passport-sized photos for visa documentation, admit cards or rent agreements at the last minute? Starting today, Blinkit customers in Delhi and Gurugram can get passport photos delivered in 10 minutes! We’re excited to roll out this new service and look forward to your feedback to help us perfect it.”
He added that the service will be gradually expanded to other cities as well.
The process for ordering passport photos through Blinkit is: Users need to upload an existing photo or take a new one using their phone. Blinkit’s system will automatically remove the background and adjust the image to the required size. Customers can select from options of 8, 16, or 32 prints, all delivered in a neatly packaged envelope, Dhindsa explained in another post.
