Established her image as one of the big dancing sensations in the Indian television industry, Shakti Mohan had risen up after winning Zee TV\'s dance reality show Dance India Dance season 2. After being a finalist on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa in 2014, she got her much-deserved fame. Shakti, who earlier aspired to be an IAS officer, is a trained contemporary dancer and has done a diploma in dance from Terence Lewis Dance Foundation Scholarship Trust in 2009. She is now a popular figure in the dancing world and has her own dancing studio in Mumbai. Through her initiative named Nritya Shakti she organizes international dancing tours and workshops. Shakti was also an assistant choreographer to Vaibhavi Merchant for Kamli song of Dhoom 3. She has finally made her mark globally as she has been a judge for dancing shows not only in India but also in other countries like Singapore. She has also collaborated on a BBC-sponsored dance project in New York with Mohammed Fairouz and runs a YouTube channel of dancing instruction videos.
