Sasikala Natarajan

Sasikala Natarajan is the long term political aide of Jayalalithaa and member of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). Born in Thiruthuraipoondi, Natarajan went on to marry M. Overtime Natarajan and Jayalalithaa developed a close friendship that remained strong till the chief minister\'s death. Sasikala moved into Jayalalithaa\'s house at Poes garden in 1988, soon after MGR\'s death and soon took over as her housekeeper, confidante and poltical aide. She would be seen with Jayalalithaa in all her political rallies and came to be referred as \'chinamma\' (little mother).
