Radha Mohan Singh is a political leader from Bihar and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Bihar’s Purvi Champaran Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on September 1, 1949, in Narha Panapur, Bihar. With a political career spanning several decades, Singh has been a key figure in Indian politics, particularly in the state of Bihar and at the national level.
His political journey began in the early 1970s when he became involved with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). His association with the RSS paved the way for his entry into active politics. He joined the Janata Party in 1974 and later became a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) when it was formed in 1980.
Radha Mohan Singh was first elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's Parliament, in 1989 from the Motihari constituency in Bihar. Since then, he has been selected as a Member of Parliament (MP) multiple times, showcasing his strong political influence and popularity in the region. His victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections marked his third consecutive from Puri Champaran and seventh overall term as a Member of Parliament.
