Pratap Govindrao Chikhalikar Patil, born on August 2, 1960, is a known Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Nanded district.
His political career began with an unsuccessful attempt to win the Loha Vidhansabha seat on a Congress ticket in 1999. However, Chikhalikar's persistence paid off when he was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly in 2004.
Over the years, Chikhalikar has been part of different political parties. In 2007, he joined the Lok Bharati political outfit, signalling his readiness to contest against the Indian National Congress in municipal elections.
His political journey continued with a move to the Nationalist Congress Party in 2012 and later to the Shiv Sena in August 2014.
By 2014, Chikhalikar was re-elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, representing the Shiv Sena party.
In addition to his political roles, in 2015, he was elected as the Director of the Nanded District Central Co-operative Bank.
In the 2019 elections, he was elected as a Member of Parliament, representing the Nanded Lok Sabha Constituency.
