Praneet Bhat is one of the television artists with a strong physique and a good built. Born and brought up in Nashik, he shifted to Bombay for modelling and acting in 2002. Soon, he started getting recognition after working in daily soaps like 'Kitni Mastt Hai Zindagi', 'Dil Mil Gaye', 'Shhh...Phir Koi Hai' among others. But he only got famous in the year 2013, after playing the role of Shakuni in the epic T.V. series, 'Mahabharat' on Star Plus. He also won the 2014 Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for his spectacular performance on the show. Later, he participated in Bigg Boss- 8 as a contestant and gained wider popularity. Last year, he was again in the news when he tied the knot with his long time girlfriend Kanchan Sharma. The couple recently went to Lucknow to celebrate their one year wedding anniversary with in-laws.
