Pradeep Kumar Singh is a political leader from Bihar and a member of the Bhartiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Member of Parliament from Bihar’s Araria Lok Sabha constituency. He was born on December 29, 1964, in Kauvachar, Bihar. He has been an influential figure in Indian politics, serving as a Member of Parliament for the Araria constituency in Bihar. He first assumed office in May 2009 and served until May 2014. He lost the 2014 Lok Sabha elections to Sarfraz Alam of RJD but managed to win it back once again in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Before his tenure as an MP, he was also a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from 2005 to 2009, representing the Araria constituency. This role provided him with a solid foundation in legislative activities and public service at a more localised level before transitioning to the national stage. His political career is marked by his active participation in parliamentary proceedings and his focus on addressing issues relevant to his constituency and the nation.

He has made significant contributions, including advocating for the restart of Forbesganj airport in Bihar, addressing crop failures and demanding compensation for affected farmers in Araria, and calling for the augmentation of railway services in his district. He also highlighted the need to construct river embankments in Araria to prevent floods, establish a medical college in the region, and tackle issues related to Indian students facing difficulties in Nepal Medical College.
