Piyush Chawla
Piyush Chawla's career started for India at a very young age when he made it to the U-19 squad at 15. The right-arm leg spinner went on to become a part of Uttar Pradesh U-22 squad. Chawla's biggest asset in his arsenal is his well-disguised googly, which made him a regular for some time in India's U-19 side. His exploits in the 2006 U-19 World Cup for India, where he ended up with figures of 4/8 against Pakistan, also brought him under selector's radar. He made his Test debut in March 2006 against England. But with plenty of spin options available to the national side, Chawla could not manage to become a regular in India's senior side. In the 2014 IPL auctions, Chawla was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for whom he went on to be very successful. His match-winning boundary against Kings XI Punjab in the final of IPL 2014 took KKR to their first trophy win.
