The 2018 edition of Festival de Cannes, the annual cine-extravaganza at the French Riviera, is scheduled to be held from May 8 to May 19. While Australian actress Cate Blanchett has been named as the President of the Jury for the main competition, Benicio Del Toro has been nominated as the president for the Un Certain Regard jury. Asghar Farhadi's Spanish film Everybody Knows, starring Javier Bardem, Penélope Cruz and Ricardo Darín, will open the festival.
