Zubeen Garg Death: Two Musicians Arrested In Assam, Murder Charges Added

The probe into singer Zubeen Garg’s death has intensified, with Assam Police arresting musicians Shekharjyoti Goswami and Amritprava Mahanta. The two were with Garg during the yacht outing in Singapore where he drowned. Earlier, Garg’s manager Siddhartha Sharma and festival organiser Shyamkanu Mahanta were also arrested. Despite Singapore authorities ruling out foul play and citing “drowning” as the cause of death, Assam CID has added murder charges to the case. The SIT continues to question those arrested as public outcry grows in Assam.
