Mizoram Bridge Collapse: 17 Dead After Mizoram Railway Bridge Under Construction Collapses

Mizoram Bridge Collapse: During the incident, authorities reported that approximately 40 construction workers were present on the bridge, which was being constructed to establish railway connectivity up to Aizawl. Tragically, the collapse occurred around 11 am on Wednesday in the vicinity of the Sairang area in Mizoram, situated about 21 km from the state capital. As a result, 17 workers lost their lives, and there are concerns for the safety of several others who might be trapped beneath the debris.
