Karur Stampede: Supreme Court Orders CBI Probe, Says Incident Shook Nation’s Conscience

Karur Stampede: The Supreme Court has ordered a CBI probe into the September 27 Karur stampede at actor Vijay's rally in Tamil Nadu, which claimed 41 lives. Calling the incident a matter of national conscience, the court also formed a 3-member panel led by retired Justice Ajay Rastogi to oversee the investigation, stressing the need for a fair and impartial probe.
