Prime Minister Narendra Modi met UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Mumbai on Thursday, marking Starmer’s first visit to India since becoming PM. The leaders celebrated deepening India-UK ties and discussed further investment and trade opportunities, with defence and technology security expected to be key topics. Starmer arrived Wednesday for a two-day trip following the recently finalized trade deal. Earlier, 64 Indian companies committed £1.3 billion ($1.75 billion) in investments to the UK, part of the country’s largest-ever trade mission to India.
