India achieved a major milestone in its indigenous defence manufacturing push as the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas Mk1A completed its maiden flight from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s (HAL) newly inaugurated third production line in Nashik on October 17, in the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
