Coldrif Syrup Row: A 75-year-old pharmaceutical company owner, G. Ranganathan, has been arrested from Chennai in connection with the deaths of several children in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan after consuming contaminated Coldrif cough syrup. Tests revealed the syrup contained 48.6% Diethylene Glycol, a toxic industrial chemical.
