5 Things You Need to Know About Maharashtra SSC Results 2016

Overall pass percentage of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) exams, the results of which were announced on Monday, declined by about two per cent this year, to 89.56 from last year’s 91.46 per cent. The pass percentage of Mumbai divisional board, too, fell from 92.9 last year to 91.9 this year. The Konkan region recorded the highest pass percentage — 96.56, followed by Kolhapur (93.89) and Pune (93.30). Across the state, 16,01,406 students appeared for their Class X exams, of whom 14,34,143 passed.
