Kareena Kapoor On Udta Punjab Row: Chose To Do The Film To Send Out Message About Drug Menace

Kareena Kapoor believes it’s important to release Udta Punjab without any form censorship so that the social message about drug menace gets translated to the masses. When asked if as a Punjabi she feels drugs are a menace in Punjab, Kareena told Indian Express.com, “That’s the reason I chose to do the film. I have done many films in the past where I have played a pivotal roles but I chose to be a part of this film because it is important that this message gets told which am sure is going to come on screen.”
