Israel Approves US-Brokered Gaza Ceasefire Deal | Donald Trump | Netanyahu | Israel-Hamas War

A US-mediated ceasefire between Israel and Hamas has reportedly come into effect after Israel’s government approved the agreement. However, uncertainty looms as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has yet to issue a formal directive to the Israel Defense Forces to halt operations. Under the terms of the deal, all hostages held in Gaza are to be released, the Israeli military will withdraw to a mutually agreed point, and a number of Palestinian prisoners will be freed. The United States is deploying around 200 troops to the Middle East to monitor the ceasefire’s implementation—though officials clarified that no American personnel will enter Gaza.
