India, Canada Discuss Security Cooperation Amid Bishnoi Gang Concerns

India and Canada have held high-level discussions to strengthen bilateral security cooperation, with a focus on transnational organised crime, including the threat posed by the Bishnoi Gang. MEA Official Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal highlighted that both countries recognise the need to collaborate closely to curb organised crime and reinforce intelligence sharing. The talks, involving National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Canada’s National Security and Intelligence Advisor Nathalie Drouin, emphasised joint efforts to tackle international criminal networks and enhance security mechanisms. These measures mark a significant step in India-Canada cooperation against organised crime threats.
