Photography is an art that often let people speechless not just because of the awesomeness of the photo but as to what is secret behind the brilliance. As in the present day world, when there is much debate about photoshopped images, that post-processing done by a computer is killing the skill; one photographer is rising to shine in a different way.
Well, post-processing is important to refine the images and bring out the best result of the photo, but to alter what has been captured has evoked much debate and controversies in recent time.
Mexican photographer Felix Hernandez rose to fame through his brilliant technique of capturing miniature things but to present it against realistic settings. What he really plays with is the perception and the point-of-view of the beholder. He uses traditional photographic techniques using camera and light and later uses digital technology to scale the images and tweak the perception.

Talking to the IndianExpress.com Hernandez said, “Doing photography with scale models is not so different from other kind of studio or at location photography. The photographer while talking about his inspiration, who is also a great believer in mystery and dreams said, “Every time we go to sleep we go into a magic world of imagination. Revealing his secrets about how he achieves such realist environment and textures the artist said that in most cases he uses everyday items to re-create the magic effect. “For the fog or mist effect I use dry ice (Co2), to make snow I use wheat flour or to make the sea foam effect I use shaving cream.” (Source: Felix Hernandez Dreamphography)
