Yu Yunicorn by Yu Televentures will be available on its first flash sale today at 2pm. The smartphone is Flipkart exclusive and can be bought at Rs 12,999. However, the price of Yu Yunicorn will go up to Rs 13,499 after a month. Yu Yunicorn, the company's 2016 flagship smartphone, uses aluminium unibody metal mixed with magnesium. The last flagship smartphone by Yu Televentures – Yu Yutopia – was launched at Rs 24,999. While the smartphone had great specs on paper, it wasn’t ready to challenge other flagships in the same price range. This time around, the company has unveiled a much cheaper mid-budget flagship. Yu co-founder Rahul Sharma also announced ‘Around Yu 2.0’, company’s software that aggregates services from different providers. Around YU 2.0 now has access to doctors on demand.
