HMD Global on Friday launched new devices. The Nokia 8000 4G phone is priced at EUR 79 (around Rs 6,900), whereas the new Nokia 6300 4G device will cost EUR 49 (roughly Rs 4,300). There is no word on India launch of these units. Both the Nokia phones ship with KaiOS, dual-SIM slots, a 1,500mAh removable battery, 4GB internal storage and a Snapdragon 210 processor. They support FM Radio and A-GPS connectivity. The Nokia 8000 4G offers a 2.8-inch QVGA display whereas the Nokia 6300 4G packs a 2.4-inch QVGA screen. The expensive version has a 2-megapixel rear camera and the more affordable one comes with a VGA rear camera.
The newly launched Dyson Pure Hot+Cool Cryptomic air purifier is priced at Rs 61,900 in India. It will be available via Amazon, Flipkart, and Dyson stores. It comes with in-built heating functionality with thermostat control. The air purifier features an LCD screen, which displays four different pollutants in real-time – PM2.5, PM10, VOC, NO2. The company claims that the product can automatically detect airborne particles and gases, then diagnoses and report them in real-time. It offers vacuum-sealed filters, Air Multiplier technology and 350-degree oscillation. It is compatible with Alexa as well. There is a Sleep timer option available and a night time mode too.
The Leica Q2 Monochrom is being sold for Rs 4,11,000 (GST extra) in India. The camera is available for purchase via Leica stores and official online channel of the company. It comes with a newly developed full-frame monochrome sensor, a fast Leica Summilux 28 mm f/1.7 ASPH. prime lens, fast and precise autofocus and OLED viewfinder tech.
The latest Samsung Sero Rotating 4K QLED TV comes with a price label of 1,24,990 in India. The 43-inch TV can be switched from horizontal to vertical orientations. One can rotate the screen using the remote, voice command and via the SmartThings app from Samsung. Interested buyers can get this TV via Reliance Digital stores. TCL on Thursday unveiled the world’s first 34-inch R1000 165Hz ultra-wide gaming monitor with 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution. The device supports 21:9 screen ratio, 165Hz refresh rate and features R1000 super curvature design. The rest of the details, including price and availability, are currently unknown.
Acer has launched its first-ever 2-in-1 air circulator and purifier in India, which is priced at Rs 16,999. It will go on sale through Amazon, Flipkart, Reliance Digital and Acer exclusive stores. It offers a 3-in-1 HEPA Filter combined with a catalytic-activated carbon filter to filter out PM1.0 particles. One can use its air circulator and air purifier functions separately or all together. The air purifier features an LED touch panel and child safety locks. It packs a PM1.0 Air Quality Sensor. The company says that it can detect changes in air quality and smartly adjusts the purifier’s operation mode for better purification of the air.

Timex has launched its latest fitness band in India. The fitness tracker comes with an alloy case, a stainless steel Mesh band and has a silicon strap. The device sports a touch display. It is claimed to deliver five days of battery life. It ships with features like activity tracking, music control, heart rate sensor and notification alert. It will be on sale in Rose gold and Black colours with Stainless Steel Mesh Band and also in black Silicone Strap. The new fitness band from Timex is priced at Rs 4,495.
The Nokia Streaming Box 8000 is priced at EUR 100, which is approximately Rs 8,800 in India. This information comes from German publication golem.de. It is being reported that this streaming device might not be launched in India as a Nokia Media Streamer streaming device was recently launched for Rs 3,499. The new one is also powered by Android TV. It even offers support for 4K streaming, dual-band WLAN, Bluetooth 4.2 and Google's Cast protocol. The Nokia streaming box is powered by Amlogic S905X3 processor. Connectivity options include Ethernet port, HDMI port, Digital Audio Out, AV Out, USB Type-A port, USB Type-C port, and a dedicated outlet for power. The device ships with remote control, which features dedicated buttons for Youtube, Netflix, and Prime Video.
Asus on Tuesday launched new laptops in India. The Asus Zenbook 14 (UX425) is on sale for Rs 82,990, while the VivoBook Ultra K15 (K513) laptop can be purchased for Rs 42,990. The company has also unveiled VivoBook Ultra 15 (X513), which is priced at Rs 43,990. There is also a Asus VivoBook Ultra 14 (X413) laptop, which is available for Rs 59,990. The sale of these devices has already begun on Asus exclusive stores, Flipkart, Amazon, Reliance Digital, Croma and Vijay sales. Xiaomi Mi Wireless Mouse Lite has been launched for 39 yuan (Rs 430), but will be sold for 29 yuan (around Rs 320). It is available through the Chinese site JD.com. The device has curved buttons and simple ridges for a better feel. The company has used Teflon material for mouse footpads. It is said to have good wear resistance and self-lubricating properties. The Mi Wireless Mouse Lite features 1000dpi precision sensor, a AAA battery, and supports 2.4GHz wireless transmission technology. There is also an independent power switch with support for automatic sleep tech.
The Vivo V20 SE is now available in India in a new Aquamarine Green colour. It can be purchased via Vivo India's e-store, e-commerce websites, and retail stores. Miko 2 is India’s first Hindi speaking child companion robot priced at Rs 24,999. According to the company the new "AI robot aims to offer an unmatched experience to a whole new set of users which helps children and parents with effective learning and development."
