Apple's iPhone SE launch is scheduled for March 21, when the company will hold a special event. Apple is expected to launch a new 4-inch iPhone SE or iPhone 5SE as some have called it, along with a new 9.7-inch iPad Air 3, perhaps new updates to the Apple Watch and a refreshed Apple MacBook line-up. Here's a quick look at the Apple March 21 event, and what the rumours have been claiming so far.
The current Apple iPhone line-up includes the new iPhone 6s series, iPhone 6 and the iPhone 5S. Now after March 21, we could see iPhone 5S get replaced with the new iPhone SE (SE stands for special edition apparently). Apple's new 4-inch iPhone could have a design similar to the new iPhone 6, 6s series and an upgraded hardware. However this won't be a prototype for the iPhone 7, which will probably launch in September.

According to rumours, the Apple iPhone SE could come with a 12 megapixel camera, not an eight megapixel camera as first reported, and that it will be priced between $400-$500 to push sales in China and India. A report by “KGI Securities expects total 4-inch iPhone shipments to grow 131% year-over-year to 37 million units in 2016,” thanks to the new iPhone SE. In this photo, we see an older iPhone 4S.
Apple’s 4-inch iPhone 5SE is reportedly launching with the same internals as that of iPhone 6. The device is expected to feature a faster A9 chipset coupled with M9 co-processor, support for Apple Pay, always-on Siri and Live Photos. Apple could also add the 3D Touch display seen in iPhone 6s series. In this picture, the older iPhone 5S is seen.
Apple iPad Air 3 is expected to inherit some of the trademarks of iPad Pro. It might get support for Apple Pencil and come with a smart keyboard. For Apple, sales of the iPad have been dropping, even though it remains the market leader. It will have to do something drastic with the iPad in order to revive interest. Seen here is the iPad Pro. Apple Watch 2 won’t launch in March 2016 as was being hoped, but the company will introduce some new watch bands at the event. A fully-redesigned Apple Watch 2 might not come till September. A report on TechCrunch said that the Apple Watch in March could come with a new FaceTime camera as a hardware addition.
